Valpolicella della Amarone;
Black Currant
Tobacco
Chocolate

Rich, Ripe & Powerful

Aromas of black cherry, plum, black licorice & dark chocolate. Flavors of jammy black cherry, black tobacco, bitter chocolate, & leather. Slightly sweet & pleasantly bitter & nutty finish.

Full body & higher alcohol level (15+ ABV) with rich & powerful texture on the palate.

Typically a blend of a number of native grapes: Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone, & Molinara.

Amarone translates to “great bitter,” is made by letting those grapes dry & fully ferment.

Two other major dry styles of this blend are; Classico (Normale) & Ripasso.

Pairs fantastically with game meats & pork-based stews.
